GTA 6 Selfridges Experience Lands on London's Oxford Street on November 9

Published

The GTA 6 marketing machine has reached one of Britain's most famous shopping streets. Selfridges is teasing a "world of Grand Theft Auto VI" experience at its Oxford Street flagship in London, starting November 9, 2026.

What was announced

Selfridges teased the experience on its official Instagram, telling followers to "get ready to experience the world of Grand Theft Auto VI at Selfridges from 9 November 2026." It pointed fans to its Selfridges Unlocked membership for details.

The timing is deliberate. November 9 is 10 days before GTA 6's November 19 launch, and the day before the game's digital pre-load window opens, right as Christmas shopping ramps up, according to GTA BOOM.

The groundwork

The experience builds on Selfridges' "Christmas and the City" campaign. Its 12 Oxford Street windows show festive scenes from real cities, and one of them is a fictional Vice City. Santa turns up in that scene, which includes a Burger Shot cup.

Selfridges has also courted gamers before, with Pokémon anniversary takeovers and a Samsung-backed gaming "Playhouse." A full tie-in with Rockstar's flagship title is a much bigger move.

What's still under wraps

Selfridges has not said what the November 9 experience includes. It could be merchandise, a pop-up, an immersive installation or exclusive items. Rockstar has not announced the activation on its own channels, so its official role is not yet clear.

What it means for players

This is the latest stop on a campaign that has run through Miami since the summer. Rockstar's partners have turned parts of real Miami into Vice City, from a giant GTA 6 sign on the Kaseya Center to South Beach plane banners, a nightclub rebranded as NINE1NINE Vice City, and the Miami Heat playing as Vice City.

A London luxury department store joining in shows how far the promotion has spread. Watch the Selfridges Instagram and Unlocked membership page from November 9 for the full details. Opening day falls one day before the pre-load window, so expect a busy week on both sides of the Atlantic.
