Spectrum customers can reportedly get a free internet upgrade to download GTA 6 faster before launch day, according to Men's Journal.
What Spectrum announced
Men's Journal reported on November 6, 2026 that Spectrum is giving its customers a free internet upgrade aimed at speeding up downloads ahead of Grand Theft Auto VI's release. GTA 6 launches on November 19, 2026 on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
What it means for players
GTA 6 is a very large game, so a faster connection can make a real difference in launch week. Getting the download done early means less waiting on release day and more time in Vice City.
The details that matter most, such as which Spectrum plans qualify, what speeds the upgrade provides and how long the offer runs, aren't covered in the report we have. Check with Spectrum directly before you plan around it.
Keep an eye on the countdown
With GTA 6 less than two weeks away, it's worth planning your bandwidth now. GTA HYPE will update this page if Spectrum publishes more specifics.
