GTA 6 PS5 Pro Leak: PSSR Claim Hits a Ghost of Yōtei Snag

Published

Unconfirmed: treat this as a rumor until Rockstar confirms it.

👀 Unconfirmed: a reported PS5 Pro listing for GTA 6 has surfaced, but its wording suggests a copy-and-paste error rather than inside information.

What the leak claims

According to Power Up Gaming, a purported PlayStation France listing credited GTA 6 with two PS5 Pro features: PSSR (Sony's PlayStation Spectral Super Resolution) upscaling and advanced ray tracing.

The listing also reportedly said DualSense haptic feedback would let players feel "Atsu's katana strikes." Atsu is the lead of Ghost of Yōtei, the PS5 exclusive released on October 2, 2025. No katana-wielding character appears in anything Rockstar has shown of GTA VI.

Where it comes from

The screenshot circulated through Power Up Gaming and was then covered by ComicBook.com, which framed it as PlayStation leaking PS5 Pro enhancements. Power Up Gaming read it the other way and flagged doubts.

Reports say the listing text was removed after it spread. Neither outlet has shown who edited it or why, and nobody has independently verified the original page.

How credible is it?

The Atsu line is the biggest red flag. It is a DualSense blurb about another game's protagonist, and it fits a likely scenario where copy written for Ghost of Yōtei's PS5 Pro section was reused in a shared template. That explanation is an inference, not a confirmed fact, and no statement from PlayStation France has been reported.

The PSSR and ray tracing claims are plausible for PS5 Pro, but plausibility alone is not evidence. Treat the feature list as unverified.

What Rockstar has said

None of the coverage cites a Rockstar statement on PS5 Pro features. Rockstar's launch material so far has been screenshots, with 39 launch shots cited by Shattered, and the game is due November 19, 2026.

Until PlayStation or Rockstar addresses the listing, treat the PS5 Pro upgrades as a rumor.
