GTA 6 Leak Points to 55 PS5 Trophies and Xbox Achievements at Launch

Published

Unconfirmed: treat this as a rumor until Rockstar confirms it.

Unconfirmed, but specific: a pair of leaks suggests Grand Theft Auto VI will launch with 55 trophies on PS5 and achievements on Xbox, all single-player.

What the leak claims

  • 55 launch objectives on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, all solo-oriented.
  • That beats GTA V at release, which had 49 achievements on Xbox 360 and 50 trophies on PS3.
  • One Xbox achievement is worth 1000 points, which points to a possible mythic achievement. Microsoft reserves that tier for select first-party releases such as Gears of War: E-Day. It rivals a PS5 platinum trophy and is aimed at completionists.
  • The list reportedly contains no trophy or achievement names, so story details stay hidden.

Where it comes from

The Xbox list was posted by TexFunz2 through the GameRoll X account. Dataminer PlayStation Game Size reportedly confirmed the same 55-objective total for Sony's console. Notebookcheck's Adam Corsetti covered the leak. Neither source has a track record stated in the reporting.

How credible is it

Two separate sources reporting the same total for different platforms is the strongest support here. The scale also fits the game. According to co-studio lead Rob Nelson, the main story and some added quests take about 80 gameplay hours, and the setting, Leonida, has a map larger than previous Rockstar open worlds. A full platinum run would take a long time.

The full trophy list has not surfaced, so the exact breakdown is still open.

What Rockstar has said

Rockstar has not confirmed the leak, has not released a trophy list, and has not announced a release date beyond the previously stated window. A GTA Online follow-up is expected to add its own trophies and achievements, as GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 did, though it may arrive long after launch.
